For residential customers we have four different pricing options.
Standard Domestic is most suitable for customers who use gas for winter space heating and cooking.
Economy Domestic is only available to those customers who have natural gas water heating for either Domestic hot water services or for a swimming or spa pool. To qualify for our Economy Domestic pricing option customers must provide Wanganui Gas with a completed installation certificate confirming that a natural gas water heater has been installed in accordance with the Gas Regulations.
Super Economy Domestic is also only available to those customers with natural gas water heating as described in the Economy Domestic option above. This pricing option, which has a higher Daily Charge, is most suitable for those customers using in excess of 9750 kWh per annum.
Seasonal Domestic is most suitable for customers who wish to pay daily charges only during the winter months of May to September inclusive.
For non-residential customers we have a Standard Business option for customers using less than 334,000 kilowatt hours. Customers using in excess of 334,000 kilowatt hours may chose to purchase gas from us under contract rates..
Finally we have a special non-residential pricing option for customers such as for sporting clubs, cultural and other non-profit making organisations that use small amounts of gas.
